Cette carte verte est une classification par segmentation en grille (1 m de résolution) des orthophotos de vol d'été commandées par l'Agence pour la Nature et les Forêts (ANB). For this purpose, the Research & Development (R&D) line of the Geographic Information Agency (AGIV) carried out a segmentation classification of the mid-scale summer flight orthophotos to create a map with the classes ‘Not Green’, ‘Agriculture’, ‘Low Green’ (less than 3m) and ‘High Green’ (more than 3m). Based on the Agricultural Use Parcel Map 2012 (Agency for Agriculture and Fisheries), ‘Low Green’ and ‘Not Green’ are classified as ‘Agriculture’. This means that e.g. trees in agricultural area are classified as ‘High Green’.
