Mapping Economic Activities

Statbel, the Belgian statistical office, is providing a detailed overview of economic activities in every Belgian municipality for the first time. The new publication focuses on local establishments and takes into account the locations where economic activities take place. A bakery or florist that is part of a chain will indeed appear in the statistics for the municipality in which the business operates.
