Flemish Open Science Policy Plan

Flanders has approved the Open Science Policy Plan for 2026–2030.

This plan gives impetus to the transition toward open, transparent, and responsible scientific research in Flanders. The new plan aims to embed Open Science-by-design as a natural part of the research process, following the principle of “as open as possible, as closed as necessary.”
