Railway connections by area

Evolution per year of the number of connections to the Infrabel network by area. A connection allows an undertaking to be connected to the rail network. This particular infrastructure includes the branch line and private tracks that include all railway facilities beyond the branch line. Definitions of connections from 2022 onwards: Railway connections: total number of connections (active and inactive)Active rail connections: total number of connections with actual railway activity in year Y-1.Inactive railway connections: total number of connections which are the subject of a contract (or ministerial order) and which have no actual railway activity in year Y-1.
