Points and Lines of View Remarkable in Wallonia

This dataset locates places or lines of view from which one can enjoy a remarkable view of the landscape. Remarkable Viewpoints (RPPs) are introduced in CWATUPE Article 40, which states that "the Area Plan may include, in overprinting at headquarters areas, remarkable views". Article 450/20 of the CWATUPE defines "the perimeter of remarkable viewpoint as aimed at maintaining exceptional views of a built or unbuilt landscape. Acts and works subject to permits may be either prohibited or subject to conditions designed to avoid jeopardizing the remarkable view. At the map level, all elements of the dataset are represented by lines:- Viewpoints are represented by two segments that limit the opening of the angle. Angles may have varying apertures depending on the extent of the quality landscape observed. Segments that limit angles can also have variable lengths. When it comes to a panoramic point of view, the two segments form a 360° angle of view. The orientation of each point of view makes it possible to distinguish the panoramic points of view.- The lines of view are represented by three segments: the line of sight and the two segments determining the angle of view.
