Article 3 of the Order of the Walloon Government of 1 July 2010 on the terms and conditions for the approval of laboratories or bodies in the field of noise stipulates that laboratories and bodies may be approved for the following categories: Sound monitoring measures intended to assess compliance with legislation, general, sectoral, integral, specific or additional conditions imposed by an environmental permit, a single permit, a declaration or any other authorisation, registration or permission, without acoustic modelling.Acoustic studies carried out in the context of:Studies to assess compliance with legislation, general, sectoral, integral, specific or additional conditions imposed by an environmental permit, a single permit, a declaration or any other authorisation, registration or permission, and involving acoustic modelling;Technological and economic studies referred to in Article 26 of the Order of the Walloon Government of 4 July 2002 laying down the general conditions for the operation of establishments referred to in the Decree of 11 March 1999 on environmental permits;A study of impacts on the environment.Acoustic studies carried out as part of acoustic mapping and action plans carried out in the context of the Order of the Walloon Government of 13 May 2004 on the assessment and management of environmental noise.Verification and control of sound level meters and sound measuring instruments excluding verification and pre-market control.
