Summary: Location and documentation of all Public Library branches on the territory of the city of Antwerp on the basis of the Large-scale Basic Map of Antwerp. Purpose: The geo-layer shows the exact location and grading of the public libraries and can be used in function of spatial analyses in combination with other information: distribution, environmental analyses, accessibility. Libraries are classified according to the following subtype: head of library, district library , district library and library . Creation: The inventory was made on the basis of the data from the Cultural Service and the website of the city of Antwerp. When in doubt, the library concerned was contacted by telephone. The address fields were used to link the settings to the Large-scale base map.
