PluvFlood climate2050 T100

Open Data Antwerpen

Flood model city of Antwerp, maximum water level in meters, modelled at specific year and repetition period. Download - https://s3-ant1.antwerpen.be/prd-open-data-data-tank/DOWNLOADS/pluv_205… Purpose: Urban areas are very vulnerable to the effects of climate change, due to the high concentration of people, infrastructure and economic activity, but also because cities tend to exacerbate extreme climates such as heat waves and flash floods. Climate-fit.city will translate the best available scientific data on urban climate into relevant information for public and private end-users operating in cities across a range of different sectors. Creation: The map is based on the results of VITO’s urban climate model UrbClim’. For the reference period '2000-2017', the model was driven by ECMWF ‘ERA5' data. The future data are generated by applying climate change statistics, based on a large number of GCMs and RCMs, to the reference data.
