Low with reach zone of the cool spots in greenery, square or nature at building block level (150m and 2 min walk). (geodata portal - https://geoportaal.antwerpen.be/portal/home/search.html?q=cool spot , open geodata portal - http://portal-stadantwerpen.opendata.arcgis.com/datasets?q=cool spot , quantified in city in figures - file:///C:\Users\OB47752\AppData\Local\Temp\arcCC34\(geodata portal,%20open%20geodata portal,%20numerated%20in%20city%20in%20digits) ) This data layer is updated every 5 years when a heat map is drawn up again. The facility has a certain range based on walking distance, taking into account important barriers (water, ring, highway, rail, ...) and safe crossings for vulnerable road users (tunnels, bridges, pedestrian crossings with traffic lights). By cooling place we mean the area that has been exposed to "no" heat stress. The heat stress map is divided into: "no heat stress", "moderate heat stress", "strong heat stress" or "moderate to strong heat stress". This radiant temperature map is a modelled map made up of: shadow effects, evaporation, wind effects and heat storage and radiation of buildings and materials. This is created every 5 years. By use green, squares and of course green we mean: - all publicly accessible greenery for use without surface restriction: parks, pocket parks, hanging greenery, fort greenery, dog walking area, city forest, play forest, cemetery, green playgrounds, publicly accessible building greenery - publicly accessible paved areas without surface limitation: squares, green squares, small street corner squares, sports grounds (NOT: roads, footpaths and cycle paths) - natural green, accessible under conditions: green spaces with a nature function such as special protection areas (Vlaams Ecologisch Netwerk-VEN, Habitats Directive, Birds Directive) and natural areas managed by Natuurpunt or ANB, for example Hobokense Polder, Wolvenberg. Access subject to conditions: recreational co-use means that this space can be experienced, via accessible paths in or along the area. Only passive forms of recreation are allowed on these accessible paths. (walking, resting, sitting). In combination with the deficit zone, this layer gives an idea of the spatial distribution of these cool spots. This allows the policy to plan a balanced spatial distribution of the facility based on walking distance.
