This dataset offers an overview of the long term planning of temporary capacity restrictions on the Belgian railway network (referred to as temporary capacity restriction hereafter). The published data concerns those that take place (whether partially or not) during a timeframe starting six months from publication until the next two service years. The starting date of a service year is determined by the night of Sunday during the second complete weekend of the month of December of the previous year, the ending date of a service year by the night of Sunday during the second complete weekend of the month of December of the respective year. We deliver the following attributes: Area: the area in which the temporary capacity restriction is applicable. ID: the main ID of a temporary capacity restriction. In case of a secondary temporary capacity restriction, the main ID of the base one is repeated. Base: indicates whether the record refers to a base temporary capacity restriction or a secondary one (the ID refers to the base temporary capacity restriction either way). Secondary temporary capacity restrictions are consequences of unavailable connections due to the related base one. Line: the line on which the (base or secondary) temporary capacity restriction takes place. Tracks: the tracks on which the (base or secondary) temporary capacity restriction takes place. Starting Date: the date at which the temporary capacity restriction will start. Ending Date: the date at which the temporary capacity restriction will end. Starting Time: the time of day at which the temporary capacity restriction will start. Ending Time: the time of day at which the temporary capacity restriction will end. Period: an indication of whether the temporary capacity restriction will take place during the week, weekend, or both (week + weekend). Continuity: an indication of whether the temporary capacity restriction will take place during the day, night, or both (continuous). Starting Point Name: the name (Dutch or French) of the starting point as available in the Operational Points dataset. Ending Point Name: the name (Dutch or French) of the ending point as available in the Operational Points dataset. Starting Point: the starting operational point ID on which the (base or secondary) temporary capacity restriction takes place. Ending Point: the ending operational point ID on which the (base or secondary) temporary capacity restriction takes place. Starting Kilometer Marker: the starting kilometer marker on which the (base or secondary) temporary capacity restriction takes place. Ending Kilometer Marker: the ending kilometer marker on which the (base or secondary) temporary capacity restriction takes place. Impact on the Railway Network: a description of the impact code that is assigned to the (base or secondary) temporary capacity restriction. TLC = Total Line Closure (the entire line is closed off) ST = Single Track Operation (only one track is closed off) ST+NTLC = Single Track Operation + Night Total Line Closure (one track is closed off during the day and the entire line is closed off during the night) TSR = Temporary Speed Restriction (speed restriction exist on the respective tracks) OTHER = Other Type of Restriction (other restrictions exist on the respective tracks) Impact Level: the level of the TCR impact in accordance to European regulations. The impact level minor also includes temporary capacity restrictions that fulfill the criteria of a less than minor level. Deleted: a status indicator that marks the planned temporary capacity restriction (despite having been published earlier) will not be continued (value Yes). Hence forth it is logically deleted, but will still be shown in the table for historical reasons. geo_shape: a geographical description of the coordinates where the temporary capacity restriction will take place.
