Groenpolen Ghent

Green poles are large contiguous green areas of at least 100 hectares, in which recreation, forest, nature and agriculture are given a place. The City of Ghent is investing together with other partners to provide a natural inrcihting here. In Ghent, 5 green poles will be set up, namely Groenpool Gentbrugse Meersen, Groenpool Parkbos Kastelensite, Groenpool Vinderhoutse Bossen, Groenpool Bourgoyen-Ossemeersen, Park Halfweg, Blaarmeersen and Sneppemeersen, and Groenpool Wonderwoud (Oud Airport),
