INSPIRE - Geotechnical tests - Penetration tests in Wallonia (BE)

This INSPIRE compliant data layer includes penetration tests, also known as CPTs. This data comes from the business data "Geotechnical tests - Penetration tests" Penetration test: rapid and efficient method of investigation to determine the geo-mechanical characteristics of loose land. The test consists of driving a tip into the ground at a constant speed by means of a set of sinking rods. During the penetration of the device into the ground, measurements of cone resistance and lateral friction are recorded.
