Reconfirmed (Agricultural and Green) Areas

This dataset contains the areas for which the Flemish Government (in 2009) reconfirmed the agricultural, nature, forest and other green areas of the existing current plans of construction and spatial implementation plans. The ‘reconfirmed agricultural areas’ is therefore the selection of the areas with an ‘agricultural destination’ within this dataset, for those parts where the regional plan is currently still applicable (i.e. excluding the areas captured by an RUP that cancelled the regional plan). The reconfirmed agricultural areas are one of the consequences of the demarcation processes in the outlying regions. Through this planning process, the existing regional plans are politically reaffirmed for the areas of the agricultural structure.
