Raamcijnzen Brugge 1280-1600

This dataset contains a list of rents paid for the use of tenter-frames ('raamcijnzen' in Dutch) used for the drying and stretching of cloth for the city of Bruges between 1280 and 1600, based on sources from the City Archives and OCMW-Archives of Bruges. This dataset was collected as a part of the FWO funded research project 'The Struggle for Urban Space in the Later Medieval City. The Case of Bruges (c. 1300 - c. 1580)'
