The analysis of gravimetric data in the context of research into the Brabant Massif was carried out in 2004 by the British Geological Survey in collaboration with GF Consult bvba and the Belgian Geological Service under the supervision of GF Consult. The study was commissioned by the Department of Natural Resources and Energy (ANRE), Department of Economy, Employment, Domestic Affairs and Agriculture of the Ministry of the Flemish Community (VLA04-3.1). The study was integrated into the previously conducted study with regard to the aeroomagnetic data of the Brabant Massif. This map shows the residual Bouguer gravity after subtraction of the anomaly field at an altitude of 5 km above the ground, with a constant colour interval. The colours on the map range from dark blue (-11.7 mGal) over deep green (-0.5 mGal) to red (7.8 mGal).
