The chalky rocks in Flanders were mapped. This map shows the thickness of the chalk rocks. These are the rocks that were deposited in the Cretaceous period and the Tertiary Formation of Houthem. Maps were drawn up within the project: one map showing the depth of the crest, one showing the depth of the base and one showing the thickness of the Cretaceous. In addition, there are also fracture maps through the top and the base of the chalk deposits. More info at https://www.dov.vlaanderen.be/page/depth-and-thickness-card-crayon
