Bicycle highways

This dataset contains information about the bicycle highways on the territory of the Flemish Region. It is a bundling of the data managed by the 5 provinces, so that the data is offered on an area-wide basis. In addition to the cycle highway routes (whether or not realized), the dataset also contains information about cycling, quality, lighting and low-traffic routes. Alternative routes for bicycle highways that have not yet been built are also available. The bicycle highways are an initiative of the provinces, in collaboration with the municipalities and the Flemish government. In the long term, the bicycle highways will easily connect all Flemish cities, good for a network of 2700 kilometers.
