Baseline Belgium: the low-water line (0-metre isobath) and ends of the permanent harbour works extending beyond the low-water line. Maritime borders Belgium: borderline of the Belgian territorial sea and the Belgian Continental Shelf with the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and France respectively.Territorial zone Belgium: the waters referred to from the baseline to 12 nautical miles (slightly more than 22 kilometres) measured from the low-water mark. In this zone, Belgium itself determines the laws and exercises the jurisprudence.Georeference information:- All data is referred to horizontally in ETRS89/WGS84.- Baseline is determined on the basis of polls dating from February to October 2014 relative to LAT.
