Recently Flooded Areas

Area-wide demarcation of the effectively flooded areas in Flanders in the period 1988-2016. The demarcation is based on the compilation of information that could be obtained from various sources in the period between February 2000 and June 2016. Floods up to and including May/June 2016 are included.The product consists of 2 entities: the entity ‘Recently flooded area’ and the entity ‘Contour recently flooded areas’. The first entity contains the individual flooded areas (including attributes), the second entity contains only a contour of the areas that were included in the first product entity.
