Below is the average retirement pension received by our recently retired population. To focus on a particular subset, just click on the corresponding bar. By clicking a second time, you will get the overall situation again. Below you will find the median number of our population. The median divides the population into two equal parts, making the result less sensitive to extreme values and therefore more representative of reality than the average. In the scoreboard below, you can find out how the average and median pensions of this population have changed over the years according to different characteristics such as: gender, region of residence, marital status, age at the date of commencement of the retirement pension, scheme and type of pension. The family situation has an impact on the calculation of the retirement pension. A married employee or a married self-employed person may receive a pension at the household rate. It is important to note that in the civil service system, the concept of household rates does not exist. You can have more information on the impact of the family situation on the website of the Federal Pension Service: Family situation | Federal Pension Service.
