The indicator gives the number of establishment units located on the entity with at least one employee, as at 30 June and 31 December. The unit of establishment is a place, geographically identifiable by an address, where at least one activity of the undertaking is carried on or from which the activity is carried on. Breaks in series: - on 1 January 2011: Exit from the statistics of inactive employees following the change in the declaration of public sector employees (Capelo reform). - on 1 January 2012: Exit from the statistics of inactive employees following the change in the declaration of public sector employees (Capelo reform): follow-up and end. - on 1 January 2014: increase in the number of establishments following the exhaustive identification of establishment units.
