Commissioned by the former Department of Natural Resources and Energy, now Department of Land and Soil Protection, Subsurface and Natural Resources, isohypse maps were made of the Tertiary in Flanders. On the basis of the available geological data (accesses, drillings, seismic profiles, borehole measurements, etc. ...), the course of the base of this formation was drawn up in the form of isohypse maps for each of the Tertiary formations in Flanders and Brussels. The report includes the occurrence areas of the Tertiary formations, the fractures and isohypses of the base of the Tertiary formations.
