Recent pensioners

In 2022, 114,294 people received their retirement pension for the first time, which they did not accumulate with a survivor’s and/or separated or divorced spouse’s pension. This figure represents 4% of all pensioners who received a statutory pension in 2022. To focus on a particular subgroup, simply click on the corresponding bar. By clicking a second time, the overall situation appears again. To better understand the reality behind the average amounts, we are interested in the distribution of pensions. The x-axis divides the pension into classes of EUR 500 and the y-axis expresses the percentage of pensioners with a pension in the class in question.
