Contours thermal conductivity (Lambda) (maximum mean)

Vlaams Planbureau voor Omgeving

The thermal conductivity maps of the Flemish subsurface up to 100 meters, commissioned by the Department of Land and Soil Protection, Subsurface and Natural Resources, give the thermal conductivity of the Flemish subsurface to a depth of 100m or to the solid rock. This line map shows the maximum average thermal conductivity of the Flemish subsurface up to 100 meters. The contours have an equidistance of 0.1 W/mK. Each jump therefore represents a difference in thermal conductivity of 0.1 W/mK. The maximum average thermal conductivity over a depth of 100 meters is 3.0 W/mK.
