Groundwater locations

All groundwater locations that are included in the Database Subsurface Flanders can be viewed via this map layer. Different types of groundwater sites have been defined: (wells and natural extractions). And also different filter types (pump filters, infiltration filters, reversible pump/infiltration filters, level filters, natural filters (sources and ponds) These locations are tracked for various purposes, including: - operators' extraction wells and monitoring wells, which are imported on the basis of the groundwater permit file - the wells of VMM's groundwater monitoring networks - the monitoring wells of INBO and other nature organisations
