Shallow Model of Antwerp, v1.1 (2023)

The Shallow geological 3D layer and voxel model of the Antwerp region (OA v1, 2023) shows the variation in the composition of the subsurface to -50 mTAW for the urban region of Antwerp and part of the port of Antwerp. The model was drawn up in the context of the Flemish government's management agreement with VITO, under the name VLAKO, on behalf of the Flemish Environmental Planning Bureau. The model shall include: - the height in mTAW of the base and top of the modelled packages in the form of grid-asc files, - the thickness of the modelled packages in the form of grid-asc files, - prevention limits of the packages, - drilling, probing, and interpretations on which the model is based, and - density maps. In addition, the model provides a voxel model with variation per volume of 25*25*0.5m in lithology, unit and a description of the general composition of the unit and of the variation in the glauconite content. Everything is documented in a report and related files.
