This table presents the revenues collected by the FPS Finance - Administration générale de la Documentation patrimoniale (AGDP), which are then transferred to the Regions. This table shows the transfer of collected taxes transferred to the Regions (including fines and interest). Regional taxes are distributed among the three Regions in accordance with the location criteria laid down in the Special Law of 16 January 1989 on the financing of the Communities and Regions, as amended by the Special Law of 13 July 2001 on the refinancing of the Communities and extension of the fiscal powers of the Regions. Regional taxes (duties, interest and fines) are transferred by the FPS Finance to the competent authority of the Region at the end of the month following that of their collection by the FPS Finance. 1 Amounts as at 15 January 2024 (EUR). 2 Since 1 January 2015, the tax department has been taken over by the Flemish Region in respect of regional registration duties and inheritance and transfer duties by death. As from 2015, in the case of the Flemish Region, the amounts represent only the receipts from the Advance Rulings Service (SDA) in respect of succession duties and transfer by death which are collected by the FPS Finance.
