WRB Reference Soil Groups 250k: Soil map of the Flemish Region according to the international soil classification system World Reference Base on a scale of 1:250,000

For the Flemish Region, the Belgian soil map was converted into WRB-2014, the 3rd edition of the international soil classification system World Reference Base. The result can be seen in the map layer ‘WRB Soil Units 40k: Soil map of the Flemish Region according to the international soil classification system World Reference Base on a scale of 1:40,000’. The map layer at scale 250,000 is a generalization of this map layer at scale 1:40,000. The generalised map layer contains the dominant (most common) Reference Soil Group (RSG) and the associated Principal Qualifiers (PQ) and two associated RSGs with their PQs (second and third most common) per map unit.
