Water impermeability card (WOK), 5m resolution, recording 2015

Geographical grid dataset showing the soil cover in Flanders, condition 2015.This map has a focus on soil permeability, more specifically the ‘Water impermeability’. It has a hydrological context in which the loss of water permeability is important. Water impermeability is related to the surface where the soil surface has lost its infiltrability to water due to the application of an artificial water impermeable surface and thus where water flows through this surface. The map is displayed in percentage of water impermeability per pixel (5m resolution).
