Mortgage formalities activities

This table represents the number of mortgage formalities received in 2022, by Region. To be brought to the attention of all (to be opposable to the third party), certain acts require the performance of a special publicity: mortgage advertising. This can take three forms: 1) the transcription, i.e. the complete copy of the deed in the mortgage registers as for example the deed of sale of an immovable; 2) registration, i.e. a copy of an extract from the deed such as a mortgage registration slip; 3) the marginal mention, additional information mentioned in the margin of either an inscription or a transcription, as for example, in the case of a seizure on an immovable. These formalities, previously carried out by manual copying, have been carried out since 2001 by scanning documents and since 1 April 2014 also by documents received electronically. Transactions relate to the number of legal agreements contained in the deeds, knowing that the same deed may contain several, for example a sale and a donation.
